Trivia
- During the Let's Go for Number One! time trial event, both Chase and Elaine claim they helped the other one out in battles while in Kanto. This may be a reference to the co-op feature from Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, which allows two players to battle Trainers together.
- Chase, May, Akari, and Elaine are the only player characters who have never been able to be battled in Pokémon Masters EX.
- Chase and Elaine are one of two pairs of protagonists that are equally based on the player character from their games of origin, the other being Elio and Selene.
- All versions of Chase use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Red, Leaf, Blue, Elaine, and Professor Oak.
- Chase also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Red, Leaf, Blue, or Elaine in the same team.
Origin
Chase's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Pikachu is the first partner Pokémon of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!. Pikachu's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
