Description This minor division Psychic-type Gym Leader trains at the Master Dojo in the Galar region. He has a gentlemanly personality, yet also exudes a strong sense of pride.

Avery (Japanese: セイボリー Savory) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Galarian Slowking, which is capable of Dynamaxing. This pair was first made available through a Poké Fair sync pair scout beginning on July 14, 2024. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Raising this sync pair to 6★ EX will unlock Song Key 08020, which allows "Battle! (Avery) (Pokémon Masters EX Version)" to be played in the Jukebox.

Origin

Avery's design is based on his appearance in The Isle of Armor expansion in Pokémon Shield. Galarian Slowking is Avery's signature Pokémon as a Gym Leader in the core series games. Slowking's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
