Description | Melony has been the Ice-type Gym Leader in Galar since she was in her twenties. She is also known as a very effective coach, but her coaching style is incredibly strict. |
Melony (Japanese: メロン Melon) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Lapras, which is capable of Gigantamaxing. This sync pair was first made available on October 5, 2022. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX from the day it was released.

Trivia
- Melony & Lapras are the only sync pair with two Max Moves that are identical in name & category (Max Guard).
Origin
Melony's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Lapras is Melony's signature Pokémon in the core series games, where it is also capable of Gigantamaxing. Lapras's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Moon.
