Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Wild Charge is Zeraora's second move. It is obtained by reaching level 8 and upgrading Slash into it instead of Discharge. The user charges towards an enemy, damaging them and switching to the nearest enemy if the initial target's HP drops to zero. Hitting enemies with move or boosted attacks previously within a set time provides up to 3 stacks, each stack adding an additional hit to Wild Charge (capped at 6 attacks). The first hit deals full damage and subsequent hits deal half damage. The user is untargetable for the duration of this move. The user takes 1% remaining HP (per hit) as physical damage upon use. The first hit deals 2 instances of recoil damage and subsequent hits deal only 1. At level 14, the move also hits enemies near the target.

Trivia

  • Wild Charge is the only Electric-type Tough move.
  • This move's English and Japanese names are both puns, with the words bolt and charge having both running and electricity-related meanings. This explains the fact many non-Electric-type Pokémon can learn this move.
