| Dragon Breath (Japanese: りゅうのいぶき Dragon Breath), formatted as DragonBreath prior to Pokémon X and Y, is a damage-dealing Dragon move introduced in Generation II. It was TM24 in Generation II. | ||
==Effect== | ==Effect==
===Generation II=== | |||
Dragon Breath inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of Paralysis the target.
===Generation III onwards===
Dragon Breath can be used as the first move of a Pokémon Contest combination, causing Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, and Dragon Rage to score double the normal appeal if used in the next turn. It can also be used to finish a combination, with the user gaining 1 bonus appeal point if Dragon Dance or Dragon Rage was used in the previous turn.
Dragon Breath is now affected by King's Rock.

===UNITE=== | |||
In Pokémon UNITE, Dragon Breath is Dragonite's second starting move as Dratini. The user exhales a mighty gust in the designated direction. If this move hits an enemy, the user's next attack becomes a boosted attack. After evolving from Dragonair at level 8, this move is replaced by either Hyper Beam or Outrage.

Dragon Breath (Japanese: りゅうのいぶき Dragon Breath), formatted as DragonBreath prior to Pokémon X and Y, is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in Generation II. It was TM24 in Generation II.
Effect
Generation II
Dragon Breath inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of paralyzing the target.
Generation III onwards
Dragon Breath can be used as the first move of a Pokémon Contest combination, causing Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, and Dragon Rage to score double the normal appeal if used in the next turn. It can also be used to finish a combination, with the user gaining 1 bonus appeal point if Dragon Dance or Dragon Rage was used in the previous turn.
Dragon Breath is now affected by King's Rock.
