Description | This highly skilled, powerhouse Trainer prominent in Kanto is the grandson of the famous Professor Oak. Red is both his lifelong rival and his best friend. |
Blue (グリーン Green) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. He forms a sync pair with Pidgeot, which can Mega Evolve. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout since September 3, 2019. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from November 11, 2020, which unlocks Blue's EX Style.
Blue is also available in both his sygna suit and classic attire, forming sync pairs with Blastoise and Aerodactyl respectively, with both able to Mega Evolve. Both variations are separately obtained through limited sync pair scouts, with his sygna suit sync pair first made available on August 28, 2020, and his classic attire sync pair on September 18, 2021. Both sync pairs are also capable of being upgraded to 6★ EX from when they were first released.

Trivia
- Excluding Scottie and Bettie, Blue is one of four Trainers to form three sync pairs. The others are Erika, Lillie, and Steven.
- In addition, he is the only Trainer with all three partnered Pokémon being able to Mega Evolve.
- Blue is also the only Trainer with all three partnered Pokémon having debuted in his home region, Kanto.
Origin
Blue's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pidgeot is one of the Pokémon Blue uses in the core series games, being his lead Pokémon in many battles and his highest-level Pokémon in HeartGold and SoulSilver. In Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, it is capable of Mega Evolving. Pidgeot's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
Blastoise is Blue's signature Pokémon in the Kanto-based core series games, if the player choses Charmander as their starter. In addition, animated short series such as Pokémon Origins and Generations depict Blue with Blastoise as his starter Pokémon. Blastoise's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.
Blue's classic design is based on his appearance in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Aerodactyl is a Pokémon that Blue has used in the core series games since Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, with it being capable of Mega Evolving in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Aerodactyl's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
