Description Sonia is a new professor researching the legends of Galar and has already published a book with her findings. She’s adventure buddies and childhood friends with Leon.

Sonia (Japanese: ソニア Sonia) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Yamper. She was first introduced in the story event Winter Wishes. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout from December 23, 2021. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from the time the pair was first released, which unlocks Sonia's EX Style.

Origin

Sonia's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Yamper is Sonia's only known Pokémon in the core series games. Yamper's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
