Trivia
- Hala and Crabominable are the only Alolan trial-giver sync pair whose type doesn't match their Trainer's specialty type. Their type is Ice, despite Hala being a Fighting-type expert.
- Hala is also one of the two sync pairs whose type doesn't match their speciality type in any of their skins. The other is Marnie.
Origin
Hala's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, Crabominable is Hala's signature Pokémon at the Pokémon League, while in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, it serves the same role during the post-game rematch against him. Crabominable's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
