Trivia
- Hop shares his Japanese voice actress, Yuko Sanpei, with his counterpart from the Pokémon: Twilight Wings miniseries.
- Hop and Zamazenta are the only sync pair obtained from a Legendary Event/Legendary Adventures story that only has moves of a single type: Steel. All other sync pairs from Legendary Events have moves of two different types.
- Hop and Zamazenta are also the only Galarian sync pair not obtained through the sync pair scout, nor can be upgraded to 6★ EX.
Origin
Hop's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. In Pokémon Sword's post-game scenario, Hop befriends Zamazenta after coming to its aid, and it joins his party. Crowned Shield Zamazenta's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
