Glastrier, Spectrier, and Calyrex
At the end of the storyline involving Calyrex, it will challenge the player while riding its steed. The steed it is riding is dependent on which carrot the player grew with their Carrot Seeds. If the player grows an Iceroot Carrot, the carrot will attract Glastrier, and the player will battle Calyrex in its Ice Rider form. If the player grows a Shaderoot Carrot, it will call forth Spectrier, and the player will battle Calyrex in its Shadow Rider form. The other Legendary Pokémon becomes unobtainable as a result of not being chosen.
Regardless of the choice, when the player catches Calyrex, both Pokémon will effectively be caught in the same ball, and the steed of their choice will be added to their Pokédex at the same time as Calyrex. It will share the same Poké Ball used to catch it, but all of its other stats, including IVs and Nature, will differ once split using the Reins of Unity.
