Trivia
- This move was possibly intended to be a Dark-type move. A remnant of this is present in the Japanese versions of Black and White, with TM67 being erroneously shown as a Dark-type TM.
- The Japanese name of this move, katakiuchi (かたきうち), refers to a practice common of samurai families during the Edo period, where a samurai was allowed by law to revenge the murder of a direct family member (such as a parent or older sibling).[1] This might explain this move animation Generation VI foward.
