Whitney (Japanese: アカネ Akane) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. She forms a sync pair with Miltank. This sync pair was first made available since the game's release.
Whitney is also available in her Holiday 2022 attire, paired along Winter Form Sawsbuck. This pair could be obtained through a limited seasonal sync pair scout and was first made available on December 16, 2022. This pair can be upgraded to 6★ EX since its release.

- All versions of Whitney use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Jasmine.
- During the Shine a Gentle Light story event, Whitney reveals she received her Sawsbuck from a Trainer from Unova as a Deerling.

Whitney's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Miltank is Whitney's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Miltank's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
