==={{g|UNITE}}===
In Pokémon UNITE, Triple Axel is {{p|Tsareena}}'s first move. It is obtained by reaching level 5 as {{p|Steenee}} and upgrading {{m|Razor Leaf}} into it instead of {{m|Stomp}}. The user spin-kicks 3 times in the designated direction, dealing damage to enemies. Landed hits add a Triple Axel Buff stack. The stacks last for 5s and decay together. During the duration of the buff, the basic attack speed is increased depending upon the number of stacks (caps at 3 stacks). In addition, all damage dealt by basic attacks or Triple Axel during the buff is increased by 5% per stack (caps at 6 stacks). If {{a|Queenly Majesty}} is active, each kick heals the user. At level 10, this move's damage is increased.

==Trivia==
* Along with {{m|Triple Kick}} and {{m|Population Bomb}}, it is one of only three [[multistrike move]]s where the chance to miss for successful hits is independent of the first hit.
* Triple Axel has the same description text as Triple Kick.
* Triple Axel may be based on a variation of the {{wp|Axel jump}} with the same name in {{wp|figure skating}}.

Triple Axel (Japanese: トリプルアクセル Triple Axel) is a damage-dealing Ice-type multistrike move introduced in Generation VIII. It is TM212 in Generation IX.

Effect

Triple Axel inflicts damage, hitting the target up to three times per use. Its base power will increase by 20 with each successive strike, so the first, second, and third strikes have powers of 20, 40, and 60, respectively. Each of Triple Axel's strikes has a separate accuracy check. If any strike fails, the move ends.

Assuming no modifications to accuracy or evasion, since each strike has 90% base accuracy, there is a 72.9% chance that it will hit 3 times (for cumulative 120 base power), 8.1% chance that it will hit twice (for cumulative 60 base power), 9% chance that it will hit once (for 20 base power), and a 10% chance that it will miss outright. With all three accuracy checks and base powers taken into account, the move's average effective power is 94.14.

If the target has an Ability that activates upon contact (such as Weak Armor or Stamina), each strike counts individually, enabling the Ability to activate multiple times.

If the target is holding a Rocky Helmet, the user is damaged for each strike.

If the user has Skill Link or is holding Loaded Dice, the move will have only one accuracy check.

If the first hit misses due to Disguise, the first hit will count as a strike, but the power of the two subsequent hits will be 20 and 40 respectively. If a Focus Sash activates before the last strike is dealt, the following strike will cause the defending Pokémon to faint. A Focus Band can still activate repeatedly to prevent fainting, but each chance is independent. Sturdy will activate with each hit if the defending Pokémon has a maximum HP of 1.

Pokémon UNITE

In Pokémon UNITE, Triple Axel is Tsareena's first move. It is obtained by reaching level 5 as Steenee and upgrading Razor Leaf into it instead of Stomp. If Queenly Majesty is active, each kick heals the user. At level 10, this move's damage is increased.
