==Trivia== | |||
* N's rival is Hilbert from Black and White, as Cheren and Alder both have flashbacks to him having clashed with Hilbert over their ideologies, and N says that he met Zekrom before meeting Reshiram.
* N & Zekrom were the first fair-exclusive Electric sync pair.
* N (Anniversary 2021) & Reshiram were the first Master Fair-exclusive sync pair to have the Tech role.
* N was the first character in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with two Legendary Pokémon.
** N is also the first and only character in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with three Legendary Pokémon.
* All versions of N use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, Alder, Ghetsis, and Silver.
** N also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, or Silver in the same team.
* N's appearance on Pasio's Victory Road is a reference to him defeating Alder and serving as one of the final main game opponents in Black and White.
* During the Unova chapter of the Villain Arc, it is shown that N's Kyurem is formed as a fusion of his Zekrom and Hilbert's Kyurem, which Hilbert entrusts to him.
* Sygna Suit N's sync move was initially named "World-Changing Freeze Bolt", but it was corrected to "World-Changing Freeze Shock" in version 2.33.0. This was likely a localization error, as the move Freeze Shock is named Freeze Bolt in Japanese.
* Sygna Suit N & Kyurem were the first fair-exclusive Ice sync pair.
** N and Red are the only Trainers to form the first fair-exclusive sync pair for more than one type.
===Origin=== | |||
N's design is based on his appearance in Black and White, Black 2, and White 2. Zekrom is a Legendary Pokémon that N uses in Pokémon Black and Black 2. In addition, N is depicted with Zekrom during the manga. Zekrom's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
Sigilyph is a Pokémon that N uses in his battle against the player in Nimbasa City in Pokémon Black and White. The same Sigilyph can be caught by the player by using Memory Link in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Sigilyph's Dex entry comes from Pokémon White.
Reshiram is a Legendary Pokémon that N uses in Pokémon White and White 2. In addition, he is depicted with Reshiram in Generations. Reshiram's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
N uses Zoroark during his final battle with the player in Pokémon Black and White. One also guards the entrance to his castle in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Zoroark's Dex entry comes from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
While N does not own a Kyurem outside this game, Ghetsis does temporarily fuse his Zekrom with the Kyurem he's controlling during the climax of Pokémon Black 2. Kyurem's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.

N (Japanese: N N) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Zekrom. The sync pair can be obtained through limited sync pair scouts, being first available on December 24, 2020, to coincide with the story event, The Ideal Formula. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX, which unlocks N's EX style.
N is also available in his Anniversary attire, partnered alongside Reshiram. The pair could be obtained through a limited-time Master Fair sync pair scout and was first available on August 30, 2021, to coincide with the story event Hearts United. This pair is also capable of being upgraded to 6★ EX.
N is also available in his summer attire, where he forms a sync pair with Zoroark. The sync pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout and was first available on June 30, 2022, to coincide with the story event Summer Nights & Wishing Stars. Trivia
- N's rival is Hilbert from Pokémon Black, as Cheren and Alder both have flashbacks to him having clashed with Hilbert over their ideologies, and N says that he met Zekrom before meeting Reshiram.
- N & Zekrom were the first fair-exclusive Electric-type sync pair.
- N (Anniversary 2021) & Reshiram were the first Master Fair-exclusive sync pair to have the Tech role.
- N was the first character in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with two Legendary Pokémon.
- N is also the first and only character in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with three Legendary Pokémon.
- All versions of N use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, Alder, Ghetsis, and Silver.
- N also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, Rosa, or Silver in the same team.
- N's appearance on Pasio's Victory Road is a reference to him defeating Alder and serving as one of the final main game opponents in Pokémon Black and White.
- During the Unova chapter of the Villain Arc, it is shown that N's Kyurem is formed as a fusion of his Zekrom and Hilbert's Kyurem, which Hilbert entrusts to him.
- Sygna Suit N's sync move was initially named "World-Changing Freeze Bolt", but it was corrected to "World-Changing Freeze Shock" in version 2.33.0. This was likely a localization error, as the move Freeze Shock is named Freeze Bolt in Japanese.
- Sygna Suit N & Kyurem were the first fair-exclusive Ice-type sync pair.
- N and Red are the only Trainers to form the first fair-exclusive sync pair for more than one type.
Origin
N's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. Zekrom is a Legendary Pokémon that N uses in Pokémon Black and Black 2. In addition, N's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with Zekrom during the manga.
In addition, he is depicted with Reshiram in Pokémon Generations. Reshiram's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
N uses Zoroark during his final battle with the player in Pokémon Black and White. One also guards the entrance to his castle in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Zoroark's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
While N does not own a Kyurem outside this game, Ghetsis does temporarily fuse his Zekrom with the Kyurem he's controlling during the climax of Pokémon Black 2. Kyurem's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
