==Trivia== | |||
* Piers shares his Japanese voice actor, Kishō Taniyama, with his counterpart from the Pokémon: Twilight Wings miniseries.
* Excluding Grimsley, whose banner had to be ended early and restarted to fix a glitch, Piers & Obstagoon are the sync pair with the shortest gap between their initial run and first rerun, at 88 days.
* All versions of Piers use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hop, Marnie, Raihan, Roxie, and Ryuki.
** Piers also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hop, Marnie, Raihan, or Roxie in the same team.
===Origin=== | |||
Piers's design is based on his appearance in Sword and Shield. Obstagoon is Piers's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Obstagoon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Low Key Form Toxtricity is one of the Pokémon that Piers uses in Champion tournaments and in the Galarian Star Tournament. Low Key Form Toxtricity's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.

Trivia
- Piers shares his Japanese voice actor, Kishō Taniyama, with his counterpart from the Pokémon: Twilight Wings miniseries.
- Excluding Grimsley & Liepard, whose banner had to be ended early and restarted to fix a glitch, Piers & Obstagoon are the sync pair with the shortest gap between their initial run and first rerun, at 88 days.
- All versions of Piers use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hop, Marnie, Raihan, Roxie, and Ryuki.
- Piers also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hop, Marnie, Raihan, or Roxie in the same team.
Origin
Piers's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
