ThunderPunch (Japanese: かみなりパンチ Thunder Punch) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM41 in Generation II.
Effect
ThunderPunch does damage and has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent.

In other generations
Trivia
- Like in Thunder's case, the Japanese name of this move contains the word かみなり kaminari, which can refer to both thunder and lightning. This explains the inaccuracy in the English name, as thunder is the sound produced from lightning, the electrostatic discharge that the move refers to. However, in ThunderPunch's case, this is due to spacing constraints for its English name.
