Trivia
- Lysandre & Yveltal were the first fair-exclusive Flying-type sync pair.
- All versions of Lysandre use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Professor Sycamore.
Origin
Lysandre's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon X and Y. Yveltal is a Pokémon which Team Flare attempts to use to power the ultimate weapon in Pokémon Y. An alternate version of Lysandre also uses Yveltal in Pokémon Ultra Moon. It also parallels Professor Sycamore's partner, Xerneas, Yveltal's counterpart. Yveltal's Dex entry comes from Pokémon X.
Lysandre does not own a Volcanion outside this game. Volcanion's Dex entry comes from Pokémon X.
