Trivia
- Sygna Suit Wally & Gardevoir were the first sync pair to have sync grid tiles only available at move levels 4 or 5.
- Sygna Suit Wally & Gardevoir were the first fair-exclusive sync pair with a buddy move.
- In his sygna suit's sync pair story, Wally mentions that he raised Gardevoir from a Ralts, similar to his Gallade.
- All versions of Wally use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Brendan, May, and Norman.
- Wally also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Brendan or May in the same team.
Origin
Wally's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Gallade is Wally's signature Pokémon in the core series games since Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, where it is also capable of Mega Evolving. Gallade's Dex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
Delcatty and Altaria are Pokémon that Wally uses on his team when battling the player at Victory Road. Delcatty and Altaria's Dex entries comes from Pokémon Ruby.
Gardevoir is Wally's signature Pokémon in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. While Wally has a normal chance of catching it as a Shiny Ralts in the catching tutorial on Route 102 in those games, he is never seen using a Shiny Gardevoir. Gardevoir's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby.
