Bug Buzz (Japanese: むしのさざめき Insect Noise) is a damage-dealing Bug-type move introduced in Generation IV.
It is:
- TR61 in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- TM62 in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
- TM162 in Generation IX.
Effect
Bug Buzz does damage and has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense by one stage.

Bug Buzz's base power has been lowered to 80. It has a 20% chance of lowering the target's defensive stats for three turns.

- Despite the descriptions of this move stating that the usage of wings is required, Pokémon that lack wings can still use this attack. This may be why the mention of wings is removed starting in Generation VII.
