Main series
Wyndon Stadium in the
anime
Wyndon Stadium first appeared in Flash of the Titans!, where it hosted the World Coronation Series battle between Lance and Leon. Ash, Goh, and Team Rocket were in the audience and watched as Leon won the match with his Charizard. After the battle, Team Rocket spotted a Drednaw outside the stadium and tried to catch it, only for it to suddenly Gigantamax and start attacking the stadium.
In the next episode, Ash and Goh tried to battle the Drednaw, but their attacks were ineffective against it. However, after Pikachu unexpectedly Gigantamaxed and Leon gave Ash advice, Drednaw was defeated and returned to its normal size. The next day, Leon invited Ash to a battle at the stadium, like he had requested earlier. The clash between Ash's Gigantamax Pikachu and Leon's Gigantamax Charizard ended in Leon's victory. Afterwards, Leon promised Ash that they'd have an official rematch one day.
In Toughing It Out!, Ash and Goh returned to Wyndon Stadium to watch a World Coronation Series battle between Leon and Raihan. After Leon won the battle, Ash reiterated his goal to one day battle him. Chairman Rose was also present at the stadium for the match.
In Battling Turned Up to Eleven!, Ash was designated to have a World Coronation Series match with Marnie at Wyndon Stadium. Although Team Yell initially fooled Ash into going to Spikemuth instead, Piers managed to take him to the stadium in time. While the battle between Ash's Gengar and Marnie's Grimmsnarl eventually ended in Ash's victory, Marnie's battle skills still impressed the audience and thus provided help in revitalizing her dilapidated hometown.
In Meeting Up with the Monarch!, Ash visited Wyndon Stadium to watch a World Coronation Series match between Leon and Flint. After Leon had won the battle, Ash met up with him, and he invited Ash to come training with him, which he happily accepted.
From Curtain Up! Fight the Fights! until Partners in Time!, Wyndon Stadium served as the site of the Masters Eight Tournament. The tournament concluded with Ash triumphing over Leon in the finals, ending the Galar Champion's unbroken winning streak and making Ash the new Monarch and a World Champion.
Pokémon: Twilight Wings
Wyndon Stadium first appeared in Letter, where a battle between Bea and Leon was broadcast. After the battle ended in Leon's victory, Rose and Oleana took a Flying Taxi found outside the stadium and used it to travel from to a children's hospital.
In Early-Evening Waves, Nessa was confronted by Rose in the stadium's locker room after losing a match against Milo.
In Assistant, Rose and Oleana flew over the stadium in a Flying Taxi while a battle between Gordie and Melony was taking place there.
In Sky, Leon had an exhibition match with Raihan at Wyndon Stadium. John, who had come to the stadium with Leon, was enthralled to witness Leon battling live, like he had always wanted, and decided to become a Pokémon Trainer himself one day.
In The Gathering of Stars, Leon declared the commencement of the Galarian Star Tournament at Wyndon Stadium.
Pokémon Evolutions
Wyndon Stadium appeared in The Champion, where Leon prepared for his Championship Match against Victor. While in the locker room, Leon was doubting himself after having failed to stop the Darkest Day, but his Charizard managed to encourage him to step out onto the field.
In the manga
Pokémon Adventures
Wyndon Stadium first appeared in Rumble!! The Horrific Darkest Day, being one of the Power Spots reacting to Chairman Rose starting the Darkest Day.
In PASS43, a few months after the Darkest Day had been stopped, the Champion Cup semi-finals were underway at Wyndon Stadium. As Henry had withdrawn from the Gym Challenge, Hop and Marnie were left as the ones to compete for the right to battle Leon. The match ended soon after Marnie Gigantamaxed her Grimmsnarl, but the end result was not revealed.

Trivia
Wyndon Stadium as it appears during the Pokémon World Championships
- Wyndon Stadium appears to be based on Wembley Stadium, the stadium of the England national football team. Wyndon Stadium's design incorporates the Wembley Arch, a landmark of the stadium.
- A special variant of Wyndon Stadium was used for the 2022 World Championships. This variant differs from the normal Wyndon Stadium due to the presence of Game Freak logos beneath the side jumbotrons and World Championship logos on either side of the pitch and the walls, replacing the Galar League logo. In addition, the Galar League logos on the jumbotrons are replaced with the Poké Ball icons from the normal online battle background, with the coloration of the walls becoming red and white instead of the usual blue and red.
