Trivia
- In her sync pair story, Misty reveals that the Starmie she uses in Pokémon Masters EX is not her usual Starmie which she uses at her Gym in the core series games, but another one she hatched from an Egg when she left her original Starmie at the Pokémon Day Care.
- One of Misty & Starmie's Trainer moves, Catch Us If You Can!, could possibly be a reference to the song Catch Me if You Can, which is used as Misty's theme song in Pokémon Puzzle League.
- Misty (Swimsuit) & Psyduck are the first 4★ sync pair that can be upgraded to
6★ EX.
- Misty (Swimsuit) is one of the few sync pairs with less than seven dialogues in the Pokémon Center, with only three.
- Misty also owns a Quagsire in the Johto-based core series games and the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
Origin
Misty's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Starmie is Misty's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Starmie's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Misty's swimsuit design is based on her appearance in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Psyduck is a Pokémon Misty is first seen with in the anime. She has since been seen using it and its evolved form in Pokémon Stadium series and, much later, in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Psyduck's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Misty uses a Vaporeon in the rematches against her in Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Vaporeon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
