Gladion (Japanese: グラジオ Glazio) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Gladion. He was first introduced in the story event Family Ties. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout starting on September 14, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to from when the pair was first released, which unlocks Gladion's EX style.

Gladion and Silvally are capable of reaching 6★ EX. Raising the sync pair to 6★ EX allows Gladion to switch to his EX style which also comes with an alternate Trainer pose.
Gladion also forms a sync pair with his Golbat. This pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Gladion in the Trainer Lodge beginning on November 1, 2023. This pair can be raised to since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Gladion in his sygna suit forms a sync pair with Magearna. This pair can be obtained through a Master Fair sync pair scout beginning on February 19, 2024. This pair can be raised to since it first released.

Gladion also forms a sync pair with Weavile. This pair can be obtained by exchanging 300 Training Tickets beginning on June 28, 2024. This pair can be raised to since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Trivia
Trivia
* Gladion and Silvally are the first Legendary Pokémon sync pair that is only available via Sync Pair Scout.
* Gladion & Silvally were the first sync pair including a Legendary Pokémon to be exclusively available via sync pair scout.
** They are also the only sync pair including a Legendary Pokémon to be available in the general sync pair scout.
* All versions of Gladion use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hau, Lusamine, Lillie, Plumeria, Guzma, Elio, and Selene.
** Gladion also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hau, Lusamine, Elio, or Selene on the same team.
* Gladion is one of three Trainers who have formed sync pairs with all five roles (counting EX roles), the other two being Red and Blue.
** Not counting EX roles, Gladion has formed a sync pair of every role except Sprint.

Origin
Gladion's design is based on his appearance in Sun and Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Gladion is Gladion's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Silvally's Dex entries come from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Gladion uses a Golbat during his third battle against the player in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. In addition, he uses a Golbat when battling alongside the player at Aether Paradise. Golbat's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Gladion uses a Weavile during his fourth battle and his Title Defense battles against the player in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Weavile's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Magearna is a Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation VII, like Gladion was. In addition, Gladion's family owns a Magearna in the anime. Magearna's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.

Description Gladion doesn't say much, but he cares deeply about his friends, family, and Pokémon. He used to be much more rebellious and fixated on becoming stronger.

Gladion (Japanese: グラジオ Glazio) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Silvally. He was first introduced in the story event Family Ties. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout starting on September 14, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX from when the pair was first released, which unlocks Gladion's EX style.

Gladion also forms a sync pair with his Golbat. This pair can be obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with Gladion in the Trainer Lodge beginning on November 1, 2023. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Gladion in his sygna suit forms a sync pair with Magearna. This pair can be obtained through a Master Fair sync pair scout beginning on February 19, 2024. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released.

Gladion also forms a sync pair with Weavile. This pair can be obtained by exchanging 300 Training Tickets beginning on June 28, 2024. This pair can be raised to Masters EX star.png 6★ EX since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Trivia

  • Gladion & Silvally were the first sync pair including a Legendary Pokémon to be exclusively available via sync pair scout.
    • They are also the only sync pair including a Legendary Pokémon to be available in the general sync pair scout.
  • All versions of Gladion use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hau, Lusamine, Lillie, Plumeria, Guzma, Elio, and Selene.
    • Gladion also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hau, Lusamine, Elio, or Selene on the same team.
  • Gladion is one of three Trainers who have formed sync pairs with all five roles (counting EX roles), the other two being Red and Blue.
    • Not counting EX roles, Gladion has formed a sync pair of every role except Sprint.

Origin

Gladion's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Silvally is Gladion's signature Pokémon in the core series games.
