Description | Lusamine is the beautiful president of the Aether Foundation. She has a deep, maternal love for Pokémon and is the actual mother of Lillie and Gladion. |
Lusamine (Japanese: ルザミーネ Lusamine) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. She forms a sync pair with Pheromosa. She was first introduced in the story event Family Ties. The sync pair can be obtained through the sync pair scout starting on September 10, 2020. The pair's potential can be upgraded to 6★ EX from when the pair was first released, which unlocks Lusamine's EX style.
Lusamine is also available in her sygna suit, forming a sync pair with Dusk Mane Necrozma, which is capable of using Ultra Burst and transforming into Ultra Necrozma. This sync pair is available through a limited Master Fair sync pair scout and was first made available on November 30, 2021. This pair's potential can also be upgraded to 6★ EX from when the pair was first released.
Lusamine also forms a sync pair with Lilligant. This pair can be obtained by exchanging a BP Sync Pair Voucher beginning on August 28, 2024. This pair can be raised to 6★ EX since it first released, though this pair lacks an EX style.

Trivia
- Lusamine is based on her appearance in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, as she mentions previously meeting a Necrozma that she considered "a menace to be defeated... before it could steal all the world's light".
- The color palette chosen for Lusamine's EX style may be a reference to her fused form with Nihilego in Pokémon Sun and Moon. It may also be a reference to Shiny Pheromosa.
- Likewise, the color palette chosen for Sygna Suit Lusamine's EX style is likely a reference to Dawn Wings Necrozma.
- Lusamine was the first character in Pokémon Masters EX to form a sync pair with an Ultra Beast.
- She is also the only character in the game who forms a sync pair with an Ultra Beast as their default sync pair.
- Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma were the first Master Fair-exclusive sygna suit sync pair.
- Sygna Suit Lusamine is the only Trainer to use Ultra Burst.
- Unlike sync pairs who are capable of Mega Evolution, Ultra Burst results in a 1.2× multiplier to five stats instead of the usual two when Mega Evolving.
- Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma were the first sygna suit sync pair capable of using a Z-Move.
- All versions of Lusamine use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Lillie, Gladion, and Guzma.
- Lusamine also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Gladion on the same team.
- Lusamine was the first character from Alola to receive these special voice-over lines.
Origin
Lusamine's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. Pheromosa is one of the Ultra Beasts, which Lusamine's character revolves around in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Pheromosa's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
Lusamine uses a Lilligant on all of her teams in the core series games. Lilligant's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
While Lusamine doesn't own Necrozma in the core series games, her story heavily revolves around it in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Both of Necrozma's Dex entries come from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
