Hilda has experienced similar events to her core series counterpart as the NPC character. While on her journey, Hilda would catch a Tepig, challenge the Battle Subway with Hilbert, and participate in Musicals.[3] After meeting a Victini from Liberty Garden, Hilda would catch a different Victini while in Castelia City.[4] Hilda also battle Iris as a Gym Leader two years before she became a Champion.[5]
After her journey in Unova, Hilda would catch a Diancie.
Tepig → Pignite → Emboar
Tepig can evolve into Pignite once it has reached level 30 through its sync pair story Tepig's Evolution, and then into Emboar once it has reached level 45 through its sync pair story Pignite's Evolution.

Trivia
- Hilda is based on the NPC character from Pokémon Black and White, as she mentions battling with Hilbert on the Battle Subway and had never met N before he arrived on Pasio.
- Hilda & Tepig are one of four sync pairs who have had an increased recruitment chance in a seasonal scout without being a seasonal sync pair. The other three are Karen & Houndoom, Brendan & Treecko, and Blue & Pidgeot.
- Of those four, Hilda is the only Trainer who received a seasonal outfit later on.
- In the story event Summer Nights & Wishing Stars, Hilda reveals that her Grapploct hatched from an Egg given to her by Bea.
- In her sygna suit's sync pair story, Hilda reveals she met Victini in Castelia City and wonders if it has any connection to the Victini at Liberty Garden.
- Hilda was the first character in Pokémon Masters EX to form sync pairs with two Mythical Pokémon.
- All versions of Hilda use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon). Those Trainers include Hilbert, Cheren, Bianca, Nate, Rosa, Alder, and N.
- Hilda also uses special voice-over lines upon winning a battle with Hilbert, Cheren, Bianca, Nate, Rosa, or N in the same team.
Origin
Hilda's design is based on her appearance in Pokémon Black and White. Tepig is one of the first partner Pokémon of Unova in the core series games. In addition, Hilda's Pokémon Adventures counterpart is depicted with a Tepig. Tepig and Emboar's Dex entries come from Pokémon Black, and Pignite's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
Hilda does not own a Diancie outside this game. Diancie's Dex entry comes from Pokémon X.
Hilda does not own a Grapploct outside this game, though the sync pair may reference the takoyaki commonly eaten at Japanese Summer festivals. Grapploct's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Victini is a Mythical Pokémon that can be caught at Liberty Garden in Pokémon Black and White if the player has the event-exclusive Liberty Pass. Victini's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
