Effect
Brine inflicts damage, and its power doubles to 130 when the target is at or below 50% health.

- Brine's effect of becoming stronger when the opponent is low on HP might be inspired by the idiom rubbing salt into the wound, meaning to make a bad situation even worse.
- Brine is the only Water-type Clever move.
