Description Known as the wandering stone collector due to his love of rare stones, he is actually the heir to the Devon Corporation and Champion of the Hoenn Pokémon League.

Steven (Japanese: ダイゴ Daigo) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series games. He forms a sync pair with Metagross, which is capable of Mega Evolving. The sync pair could be obtained through limited-time sync pair scouts.

Steven is also available in his summer attire, where he forms a sync pair with Alolan Sandslash. The sync pair could be obtained through a limited-time seasonal sync pair scout.

Moves

Steven's Metagross uses Meteor Mash and Iron Head as its two damage-dealing moves. Upon Mega Evolution, Metagross replaces Meteor Mash for Bullet Punch. Bullet Punch is a Quick Move that does not cost gauge but has a limited number of uses per battle.

Steven (Summer 2020) was first introduced during the Summer Superstars story event. Steven in his summer attire pairs alongside Alolan Sandslash.

In the Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer

Steven appeared in the Pokémon Masters Animated Trailer, where he teamed up with Cynthia and Lance to battle Korrina, Cheren, and Misty at a stadium in Pasio. Steven attempted to overwhelm the opposing team's Pokémon with his Metagross's Metal Claw, but said Pokémon retaliated with their own attacks.

Metagross is Steven's only known Pokémon. It appeared along with him at a stadium in Pasio. Alongside Cynthia's Garchomp and Lance's Dragonite, it battled Korrina's Lucario, Cheren's Stoutland, and Misty's Starmie. Metagross used Flash Cannon on the opposing Pokémon, but they managed to defend themselves with their own attacks.

Metagross's only known move is Flash Cannon.
