Earthquake (Japanese: じしん Earthquake) is a damage-dealing Ground-type move introduced in Generation I. It was TM26 from Generation I to Generation VII, and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and TM41 in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. It is TR10 in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Effect
Generation I
Earthquake inflicts damage and has no secondary effects.
Generation II
Earthquake can hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turn of Dig, and if it does, it will have its power doubled for that Pokémon.
Generations III and IV
Earthquake will hit all adjacent Pokémon, including allies.
Earthquake can be used as the first move of a Pokémon Contest combination, causing Eruption and Fissure to score double the normal appeal if used in the next turn.
Earthquake is now affected by King's Rock.
Generation V onwards
If Earthquake hits a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turn of Dig, instead of doubling power, damage is technically doubled instead now, resulting in virtually the same effect.
If Grassy Terrain is in effect, Earthquake deals only half the usual damage.

Pokémon UNITE
In Pokémon UNITE, Earthquake is Garchomp's and Mamoswine's second move.
Garchomp can obtain the move by reaching level 7 as Gabite and upgrading Bulldoze into it instead of Dragon Claw. The user jumps and crashes forcefully to the ground, dealing damage in a wide radius and slowing enemies. After the initial damage, two aftershocks occur in the designated area, each dealing less damage than the initial move. At level 13, the slow increases near center.
Mamoswine can obtain the move by reaching level 7 as Piloswine and upgrading Tackle into it instead of High Horsepower. The user leaps up in the designated direction and lands forcefully, dealing damage to enemies in the area of effect and pulling them toward the user. At level 13, the movement speed of enemies is decreased for a short time when this move hits and the move's pulling is increased.

Trivia
- All fully evolved starter Pokémon introduced prior to Generation V can learn Earthquake by TM26. From Generation V onwards, one fully evolved starter Pokémon of each generation can learn it.
- This move caused an episode to be banned in Japan, due to the 2004 Chūetsu earthquakes having struck the country a couple of weeks before the episode in question was intended to air. Due to this, Earthquake, and the similar moves, Fissure and Magnitude, have not been seen or used in the anime since.
- Bulldoze, on the other hand, debuted nine years later in Clemont's Got a Secret!.
- In Pokémon Emerald, Cooltrainer Dianne in Victory Road has a Lanturn that knows Earthquake, even though it cannot legitimately have the move in any generation.
- Nincada, Palpitoad, and Silvally are the only Ground-type Pokémon that cannot learn Earthquake.
- If a player transfers an Aerodactyl from a Generation II game back to a Generation I game knowing Earthquake and then uses that Aerodactyl in Pokémon Stadium, the Aerodactyl will glitch and use a unique animation, where it spins quickly in place.
