(→In other games: Proper description of the move's Monopoly appearance. It doesn't explain how it handles those, but I'm sure that if the opponent drew a "Get Out of Jail Free" card, you'd be able to keep it for when you're next in jail... assuming you aren't already there when you took it.) |

In the exclusive edition of Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition, Psychic is the [[Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition#Power Cards|Power Card]] belonging to {{p|Psyduck}}. Immediately after an opponent reveals the effects of a [[Professor Oak]] or Trainer Battle card, the player using Psyduck may take that card and gain its effects instead of the opponent. Psychic (Japanese: サイコキネシス Psychokinesis) is a damage-dealing Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I.
It is
- TM29 from Generation I to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
- TM40 in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
- TR11 in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- TM120 in Generation IX.
It can be upgraded to the special Z-Move Genesis Supernova by Mew holding Mewnium Z.
Effect
Generation I
Psychic does damage and has a 33.2% chance of lowering the target's Special by one stage.
Generation II onwards
Psychic now has a 10% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense by one stage.
Psychic can be used as the first move of a Pokémon Contest combination, causing Confusion, Future Sight, Kinesis, and Teleport to score double the normal appeal if used in the next turn. It can also be used to finish a combination, with the user gaining 1 bonus appeal point if Calm Mind, Confusion, or Kinesis was used in the previous turn.

Pokémon UNITE
In Pokémon UNITE, Psychic is Mr. Mime's and Gardevoir's first move.
Mr. Mime can obtain the move by reaching level 4 and upgrading Fake Out into it instead of Confusion. After a short delay, the user creates a pulse of energy that damages enemies around themself and any target affected by Guard Swap, with a smaller pulse around any created Barriers or Light Screens. A debuff is placed on enemies for 3s, reducing their Sp. Def. by 15% for each blast they are hit with. Enemies hit by more than 1 pulse are stunned. At level 11, the attack also briefly slows.
Gardevoir can obtain the move by reaching level 7 as Kirlia and upgrading Confusion into it instead of Moonblast. The user fires a blast, damaging enemies in an area on impact. The blast creates a lingering field that damages, slows, and reduces Special Defense. At level 13, the move's cooldown is reduced.
Monopoly: Pokémon Exclusive Kanto Edition
In the exclusive edition of Monopoly: Pokémon Kanto Edition, Psychic is the Power Card belonging to Psyduck. Immediately after an opponent reveals the effects of a Professor Oak or Trainer Battle card, the player using Psyduck may take that card and gain its effects instead of the opponent. Like all other Power Cards, this effect can only be used once per game.
